I want to thank you for helping us with the work behind the 25th CSEE&T in Nanjing, China. While the attendance was somewhat smaller than last year, I think it was a success in many ways. I certainly enjoyed the workshops, presentations, and other parts of the conference that I attended.
Of course, when one conference ends, it is time to start preparing for the next one! The 26th CSEE&T will be held in San Francisco on May 19 to 21, 2013. We will be co-located with the 2013 ICSE conference, as we were in Hawaii. I hope you’ll join us, both in the work ahead to prepare for the conference and then in San Francisco next year! If you are willing to be part of the program committee again this year, please send email to email@example.com, and I will add you to the list. Sorry, I can’t run around with a clipboard this year and collect names and addresses. Feel free to invite friends and colleagues that you think should be on the program committee this year!
Please be aware that if you are on the Program Committee, that means you will be expected to (a) participate in some training on reviewing that we will be providing (b) perform several reviews of submissions for the conference (c) take part in discussions about the submissions and program for the conference. We will be “taking roll” and removing names of people who do not actively contribute to the conference.
At this point, we are also looking for volunteers to help set up and run the conference. We are especially in need of volunteers for the local arrangements chair and support. We are also looking for volunteers for these positions:
1. Finance chair
2. Publicity chair
3. Web guru
4. EasyChair guru
So, if you are in the San Francisco area, please consider volunteering to help with the local arrangements team. No matter where you are, please consider volunteering to help with finances, publicity, web operations, and EasyChair.
Remember, you are the heart of CSEE&T, and only you can make CSEE&T 2013 a success! So let me know what you are willing to do this year.
